HAMILTON, Bermuda – August 17, 2017 – Colony Specialty, a member of Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. (NASDAQ: AGII), an international underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products, today announced the appointment of Kelly Killimett to lead its environmental business. Killimett will report to Ron Vindivich, president, Argo Group U.S. Excess & Surplus Lines. Former environmental business leader Marsh Duncan will serve as the head of digital business development. He will report directly to Kevin Rehnberg, president of Argo Group’s U.S. Operations.
“Kelly has developed deep expertise by working in the environmental business for many years, especially in working side-by-side with Marsh for the past five years. She is the natural leader to take our environmental business to the next level,” said Rehnberg. “Marsh has done an excellent job with this program. In his new role, the broader organization will benefit from his expertise as he works closely with our digital team to accelerate our efforts to become a more digital business.”
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Killimett joined Colony Specialty in 2012. She was promoted to her current role as vice president of underwriting in 2014. Prior to Colony Specialty, Killimett served as a manager and underwriter in the environmental department at American Safety Insurance Services. She started her career as a retail account manager at Wachovia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia.
