Argo Group’s efforts to streamline their hiring process couldn’t have come at a better time. When COVID-19 resulted in remote work for non-essential employees, the company had many of the processes and tools in place to go virtual with ease, including the way they interviewed potential candidates.
Megan Furlano, vice president of global talent acquisition at Argo Group, talks about the process and the importance of making candidates and new hires feel comfortable during a completely virtual process.
“It’s very high touch,” says Furlano. “The recruiters are engaged with the candidates throughout the entire process. It’s building trust with a candidate, to help them come to the right decision.”
