One Size Doesn’t Fit All: What You Need To Know About Cyber Insurance

Cyber criminals could already be targeting your company, which is why you need a robust insurance plan.

Cybercrime is expected to cause $6 trillion in damages annually by 2021, according to a new report by Cybersecurity Ventures. That’s big. And it doesn’t matter what size your company is – small, medium or large – it’s a target.

More than half, or 63 percent, of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) experienced some form of cyberattack, according to “Under Attack and Unprepared: Argo Group Cyber Insurance Survey 2017,” a recent Argo Group survey. About three-quarters of companies with revenues of at least $25 million also reported at least one incident a year.

Bottom line? Cyber criminals could already be targeting your company, which is why you need a robust insurance plan that can protect you and your employees from this pervasive threat.
