Coverage available for all livestock species includes mortality as a result of accident, sickness or disease, and specified perils.
Extensions include the following:
- Diseases resulting in government slaughter
- Contaminated feed or water
- Business interruption, including facility being held in a movement restriction zone
- Debris removal

Appetite & Availability
ArgoGlobal considers risks in traditional and emerging territories, and will write business on a worldwide basis, including for domestic or international transit of a wide variety of livestock species. The company does not currently write risks originating from, situated in or destined to Afghanistan, Cuba, North Korea, Republic of Sudan and Syria.
The company will consider lines up to $15 million (USD) per location or transit. Coverage against disease requiring government slaughter is up to $7.5 million (USD) per location.
In addition to considering submissions at Lloyd’s, ArgoGlobal has authority to underwrite this account through its offices in Singapore and Dubai. It will continue to explore the opportunity to develop new business using other offices in Argo Group’s global network.
